Welcome to the Customer Inventory App
This user manual will guide you through using the Customer Inventory App effectively. The app allows you to manage your purchased products, inventory, and reorder process seamlessly.
Getting Started
1. Accessing the App
- Go to your Shopify Store.
- Click the user icon on the top right-hand side of the navigation bar to access the customer login page.
- Enter your email address and log in.
- You will receive a 6-digit code via email. Enter the code and press Submit.
2. Navigating the App
After logging in:
- You will land on the Account Page.
- A new Inventory menu item will now appear in the navigation bar of the account page. Click it to access your Inventory Page.
Managing Inventory
Viewing Inventory
- Products you purchase will appear on the Inventory Page.
- Use the Locations Tab to view inventory based on specific addresses.
- Add a new location by clicking the Add Location button. This redirects you to the user profile page to input the new location's details.
- Use the All Locations filter to view inventory across all addresses.
Adjusting Inventory
- The right panel displays your current inventory.
- Modify the quantity of products as needed.
- For example, adjust quantities when products are used or restocked.
- Additional orders for the same product will automatically update the inventory count.
Removing Products
- To remove a product from your inventory, click the trash icon next to the product row.
Placing Orders and Reorders
Placing Orders
- Go to the main store and select a product.
- Complete the transaction to add the product to your inventory.
Reordering Products
- Reorder directly from the inventory portal by clicking the Reorder Button next to the desired product.
Scheduling Reorders
- Automate reorders with the Schedule Reorder feature:
- Select a time, day, and duration (in weeks) for the recurring order.
- The app will handle the reorder automatically at the specified intervals.
Notifications
Notification Panel
- Access the notification panel from the top navigation bar.
- Email notifications can also be received on user's email address.
- Notifications include:
- Low-stock alerts.
- Updates on placed orders.
Additional Features
Locations as Filters
- Each location acts as a filter, letting you view inventory specific to that address.
Seamless Inventory Updates
- Every product purchase updates your personal inventory automatically.
