This tool is designed to remove the ignition in the “OFF” position on GM vehicles equipped with the newer HU100 keyway and a removable tailpiece*. It allows for ignition removal without damage or drilling, completing the process in under 60 seconds—ideal for fast key origination or resolving jammed ignitions that can no longer turn to the “ON” position.
