General Instructions:

  1. Ensure the Wheel is Unlocked and the vehicle is running.
  2. Disconnect the 4-wire Connector from the steering column.
  3. Locate Cable 1 from the harness connector or steering column connector.
  4. In some cases, you may need to clear automobile access system codes, errors, memory, and counters using a diagnostic tool. This should be done by a professional ASE mechanic, and trouble codes must be reset with a special tool.

Important:
This emulator is designed to emulate a working steering lock, and it should resolve your issue if the ELV (Electronic Locking) is diagnosed as faulty.
