The Lonsdor SGW 12+8 Special Adapter is designed to bypass the Secure Gateway Module (SGW) on select Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Fiat vehicles. It allows direct communication between diagnostic tools (like the Lonsdor K518 series) and the vehicle’s onboard systems—enabling functions such as key programming, diagnostics, and module coding that are otherwise restricted.
