The Xhorse VVDI2 VAG 48 Transponder Copy Adapter is compatible with the VVDI and allows for the copying of 48 transponders used in 4th-generation Immobilizer systems. Supported transponder types include NEC24C32, NEC24C64, NEC24C64 color instrument, as well as those for A1, A3/TT/R8, Q3, and the new Tiguan 873B and 883B models.
How to Use the VVDI2 Key Programmer for 48 Transponder Copying:
- Open the VVDI2 key programmer software menu and access the member points system.
- Obtain the 48 transponder copy function by selecting XHS-VVDI96BIT or XHS-VVDIOBD.
Supported Types:
The 48-chip copy function is designed for the 4th Immobilizer system and supports the following transponder types: NEC24C32, NEC24C64, NEC24C64 color instrument, as well as those used in A1, A3/TT/R8, Q3, and the new Tiguan 873B and 883B models, among others.
Functions:
During the 48-chip copying process, you must provide the PIN code and component security bytes from the vehicle. There are two methods for obtaining this information:
- VVDI2 can read the PIN code from the Engine Control Unit (ECU) via OBDII, along with the Component Security (CS) data.
- Alternatively, you can manually retrieve the component security bytes and the PIN code.
